an addendum to the billboard thingie, from a chatter named theDonk...
not only are billboards ugly, at times they are dangerous, too. The Philippines is a typhoon path and the billboard catches wind like a sailboat does. Those billboards are made of steelsheets and once torn from where it is fastened, can fly to places you cannot predict and poses hazards to humans and properties.

speaking of billboards, best billboard that i saw goes like this:
if you bought a property here, you are home by now.
citibank (i think?) has a similar billboard along EDSA, emphasizing how easy and how fast their loan/credit card processing is.
question though:
are they comparing it to the swift travel via MRT or the torturous travel via bus?
